Fabric and Material Costs:

All fabric and material costs are at current market prices. I prefer to patronise local quilt shops, so the estimate will reflect this price. If required, I will go to other outlets to find the required materials.

Quality 100% cotton fabrics will be used unless otherwise specified in the estimate. My preferred batting is Warm &Natural or Hobbs Heirloom, but other battings such as wool, unscrimmed cotton (preferred for hand quilting), polyester blends, or pure polyester (NOT RCOMMENDED) can be used, if desired.
Other fillings can be used but must meet my approval.

In all my work, workmanship will take precedence over schedules.

Average cost of Quilt Construction (does not include material cost or quilting costs)

  Easy Design/Construction Medium Design/Construction Difficult Design/Construction
Cost per square foot $15.00 $18.00 $25.00

(*To compute the cost of the quilt, take the measurement of the quilt in inches, divide by 144, and you will get the number of sq. ft.)

Note - Even with a simple design, it can take at least 3 months for the completion of a quilt. Added time is needed if the quilt needs to be Long Arm Quilted or for more complex designs.
Rush Service is available, but will depend on my schedule and the time available for the person doing the Long Arm Quilting. Rush Service will incur a $75 fee.
I do my best to complete my quilts in a timely manner, but quality of construction is paramount. You have final approval of all designs, and you will be consulted in case a design change is needed.
